Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Brea the Cat needs a home

Have you ever had your heart broken? You may remember how hard it was to trust afterwards, how you wanted love but didn't want to get hurt again. Meet Brea. Brea gave her whole heart and all her love to someone who left her. Consequently she is shy and distrustful, but still wants attention. She likes to be petted but will sometimes flinch before breaking out the purrs. She dislikes being picked up, and is only now getting acquainted with the idea of sitting on laps. She enjoys being near her person, but with her personal space intact. The exception to this is at bedtime.

Brea has developed a habit of making sure her foster parents are 'tucked in' at night- treating them to loads of biscuits and the loudest purr in the world before curling up to sleep on their chests. Brea does well with kids, cats, and dogs. She does enjoy crinkle toys and play mice. The red dot still eludes her grasp.
